Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram: The Privacy Challenges

Social networks have gained power over in many aspects of life. Undeniably it has brought change to the world we live in and to our minds. It has more memory about us than any of the real humans. Social network is a dumpster of peoples' personal information from your date of birth to your current location it has all the information. If process well, this could get even scarier day by day. Motivated by the fact that privacy issue is one of the main concerns of the users, this paper is determined to discuss and elaborate the privacy features settings of the famous Social networking sites (SNS). In this paper we compare three of the most famous SNS, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The differences and commonalities among those SNS will be compared based on a list of criteria. Based on the comparison, Facebook has been proven having the highest number of flexible privacy features that allow users to choose as compared to the other SNS.
