Einsatz von Mikroemulsionen in technischen Prozessen

Microemulsions and reverse micellar systems are of growing interest in research and industry. They are, in contrast to emulsions, thermodynamically stable, optically transparent and macroscopically homogeneous mixtures of water, unpolar solvent, surfactant and in most cases electrolyte and cosurfactant. A general survey of different already established and potential applications of microemulsions and their basic properties is given.
