This paper aims to provide a solution to the problem of resource allocation (mobile patrols) for the police, it tries to determine areas for patrolling generating a map sectored from quadrants of the district, ranked according to criminal densities, lt seeks to minimize the shortage or surplus of resources (mobile patrols} by segments of the traveled distance. For the sectorization takes into account the levels of crime in each quadrant of the district, the number of existing mobile patrols and the relative position of the quadrants to distribute equitably the resources in all district, to establish sectors using a selection algorithm, which at each step tries to maximize or minimize the solution through the calculation of a function optimization. The solution allows the generation of patrol areas to optimize the use of police appeal.
