Palladium-DABCO complex supported on γ-Fe2O3 magnetic nanoparticles: A new catalyst for CC bond formation via Mizoroki⬜Heck cross-coupling reaction

Abstract In this paper, palladium-DABCO complex supported on γ-Fe 2 O 3 magnetic nanoparticles (Pd-DABCO-γ-Fe 2 O 3 ) was synthesized and characterized by HRTEM, SEM, XRD, XPS, ICP, FT-IR, TGA, VSM and elemental analysis. The synthesized catalyst was successfully applied as a new magnetically recyclable heterogeneous catalyst in Mizoroki⬜Heck cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with alkyl acrylates and styrene under solvent-free conditions.
