Engineering and geophysical safety aspects of the archaeological yard so rich in antique Roman ships in Pisa-San Rossore

The objective of this paper is to illustrate the hard problern to change a normal excavation executed for a building into reliable working areas/volumes for the exceptional archaeological finding of 17 (at least up to now.. ) Antique Roman Ships, close to Pisa-San Rossore Railway Station.
