Application of fieldbus in sugar industry based on virtual instrument

For the reason that traditional sugar industries need to use large number of instruments which are dispersedly distributed,the authors want to introduce the CAN fieldbus technology and virtual instruments into this field to change this situation.An online monitor system is designed by structured development on based of Delphi7.0 for detecting parameters in the production process.The database is established and functions such as parameter setting,data collection,analysis and processing,dynamic display,limit alarm,data storage,statistical inquiries,report printing,data upload to the enterprise LAN have been realized in this system.This method achieves the centralized monitoring in the production process and further improves the enterprise information management.This article highlights the specific development process of virtual instrument.
