Continuous iron removing process in zinc hydrometallurgy

2017
The invention relates to a continuous iron removing process in zinc hydrometallurgy. The continuous iron removing process in zinc hydrometallurgy comprises the following steps: primary iron removing treatment: carrying out oxidation treatment on leachate obtained after roasting of zinc concentrate, and adjusting the pH value in an oxidation treatment process to be 2.5-3.5 to obtain goethite and leachate obtained after primary iron removing treatment; and secondary iron removing treatment: carrying out oxidation treatment on the leachate obtained after primary iron removing treatment, and adjusting the pH value of the oxidation treatment process to be 4.8-5.2 to obtain ferric hydroxide and leachate obtained after secondary iron removing treatment, wherein the ferric hydroxide returns to the leachate obtained after roasting of the zinc concentrate and is reused. By the iron removing process, the iron removing effect can be improved effectively, and material consumption and zinc content of iron slag are reduced.
