O CORPO A PARTIR DA GINÁSTICA PARA TODOS: PRIMEIROS DEBATES COM O GRUPO CIGNUS

Gymnastics for All (GfA) is a non-competitive sport recognized by the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG). In Brazil, the proposal of Perez Gallardo and Souza (1996) has been widespread and several groups have been based on it: a democratic proposal, in which anyone can participate. The aim of the present study is to reflect on the conception of body from a group of Brazilian GfA. Therefore, we conducted a study descriptive questionnaire with 35 participants through Google Forms, with a questionnaire. We understand that participants perceive differences between the members' bodies; they can see some changes in their own bodies; However, we emphasize that there is no consensus among respondents about the concept of body, since there are different social and even body contexts among practitioners.
