Strategies for Multispecies Management

Much of the literature of fisheries science is concerned with the management of single-species populations of fish. But most of the world’s fish populations do not live in isolation from other fish populations. On the contrary, most live in association with many other species, and many are caught in association with others in various kinds of fishing gear.
