Cerebral functional connectivity and vasomotion: phenomena and separability

Resting-state functional connectivity (RSFC) is based on low-frequency hemodynamic oscillations (LFHO) in the brain. We report that RSFC is independent of vasomotion, another LFHO involving oscillations in blood vessels that is myogenic in origin.
