Study on Optimal Location of Monitoring Camera in Substation Considering Regional Importance

In order to adapt to the wide application of video surveillance system in intelligent substation and improve the utilization efficiency of surveillance cameras, this paper focuses on the issue of scientific and rational layout of cameras. First of all, based on the idea of rasterization, the plan of substation is divided into zones. And the importance matrix of monitoring area is proposed to describe the importance of areas and equipment. Then, a definition discrete model of camera monitoring range is established. Based on this, the layout optimization model of substation surveillance camera is established considering the purchase cost, and then the genetic algorithm is used to solve the model to get the optimized layout of the cameras. Finally, the validity and practicability of the model are verified by simulation examples, which have high engineering application value.
