Impact of the Multiplatform Mobile Applications and Their Technological Acceptance Model in Tourist Georeferenced Management

Georeferenced tools have made it possible to use the information collected through electronic collaboration environments in a better way. However, no investigation on the quantification of the influence of georeferenced tourist-oriented software tools has been found. The document aims is to validate the technological acceptance of tourist georeferencing applications using a multiplatform prototype that allows the registration of sites of interest. A web and mobile prototype are implemented to georeference data provided by personnel. The application prototype was validated by a group of 125 university students and people linked to tourism using the Technology Acceptance Model. The results were interpreted with the help of the Kendall Tau-b correlation analysis where highly significant positive correlation values were obtained.
