Study and analysis of the effect of RF mobile phone waves on human brain when operating at charging/not charging mode

2019
In this era, cell phone is a great boon for communication purpose but this has many effects on human health too. These are brain tumours, weakening of the immune system, genetic damage, etc. This paper discusses the experiment conducted to study the effects of RF mobile phone waves on human brain when operating in charging/not charging mode by using EEG. The data was collected in a laboratory with the help of five volunteers. The result shows that it is more dangerous to use mobile phone in charging mode. The value of PSD is the maximum at frequency 0-4 Hz, decreases at 4-8 Hz and then increases at 8-12 Hz frequency. At charging mode, during ringing P3-O1 and T5-O1 channels of the brain are affected and during call ongoing, channels P4-O2 and T6-O2 are severely affected. Thus, the mobile phone during charging must be avoided.
