SPP, a. s. Board of Directors on their session held in October 2006 approved the strategic document ,,CNG Development Prospects in Slovakia". The document delnes the strategic objectives of SPP, a. s. for the sphere of CNG sales: • CNG as a marketing tool, expressing the relationship of SPP, a. s. to environment, • Support for developing CNG as a tool for natural gas sales increase, • Achievement of 10% share of CNG on overall fuels consumptions in transportation sector by 2020, i.e. sales of app. 190 mil. m 3 CNG in 2020 - the objective being realistic just by a support from the Slovak government. Strategic objectives of CNG sales to bus operators and regional transportation companies is being implemented by particular projects in close liaison with CNG final users. Each project shall be built upon a,,win - win" principle, i.e. economy benelts shall be clear and balanced for all project partners. Each new CNG Service Station shall be operated with minimum one loading point dedicated for public. Strategic objectives of SPP, a.s. for CNG sales have been delned by the specific activities, tasks and projects by the Action Plan for CNG Sales prepared annually by CNG Sales Department.
