Second order statistics of SC macrodiversity system in the presence of gamma shadowed nLoS short term fading and CCI

2016
The impact of Gamma shadowed Rayleigh multipath fading in the presence of Gamma shadowed Nakagami-m co-channel interference (CCI) on the macro-diversity (MaD) system with MaD selection combining (SC) receiver and two micro-diversity (MiD) SC structures is taken into consideration. Second order statistical measures such as level crossing rate (LCR) and average fade duration (AFD) are examined and efficiently calculated. Moreover, the effect of the shadowing severity parameter, gamma interference severity and multipath fading severity parameter on the proposed MaD system are presented and discussed.
