Research on Fault Diagnosis Technology of Isolating Switch Based on Motor Power

Isolating switch is a high-voltage switchgear used in the power system, but because of its large number and long-term working in outdoor environment, reasonable fault detection of the isolating switch is of great significance to maintaining the safety of the power grid. Therefore, this paper proposes a mechanical fault diagnosis technology based on motor current. This paper introduces how to draw the motor power-rotation angle curve and compare and analyze the mechanical faults of the disconnector through the normal and jammed, three-phase asynchronous mechanical fault state of the disconnector, and then intelligently diagnose the fault of the disconnector. The feasibility of the method is finally proved.
