1500-kWe Solar-Powered Deep-Well Irrigation Facility. Volume II. Phase II proposal. Final report

Rapidly rising prices for the energy needed to pump water for irrigation has prompted ERDA to initiate Preliminary Design Programs for a 150 kW(e) Solar Powered Deep Well Irrigation Facility. This document is Honeywell's Technical Report on one of those Programs. It describes a distributed dish-type solar collector system design that will provide electric power to existing irrigation pumps. This document contains the program plan, work breakdown structure, program schedule, statement of work, cost, and management plans. (WHK)
