Experimental Study on Sintering with Addition of MAC Iron-ore Fines in Angang

According to the properties of MAC iron-ore fines and conditions of the raw materials,the effects of MAC iron-ore on drum strength,utilization coefficient,fuel consumption,rational size distribution and percentage of-5 mm size-fraction were investigated under the conditions of different fuel proportion and different addition of MAC fine ore.An optimum proportion scheme of raw materials was proposed.The metallurgical properties and mineral composition of the sintering ore were analyzed and the results showed that the mineral composition became more rational by adding 20% MAC fine ore.
