Analysis Spatial Distribution Characteristics for Chla in Bohai Sea

Chla is an important basic parameter in estimation of primary production of the ocean. This paper adopts the calculating method for oceanic chla with HY-1/COCTS as its data source, and figures out the chla distribution in Bohai sea. The results show that the chla density has an evident dependence on the position and season. The basic law is that chla concentration decreases from alongshore zone to center of the ocean; with temperature increase due to the season change, the chla concentration increases. This distribution of chla in the Bohai Sea is related with the river current, season etc., and it services for the estimation of the oceanic primary production.
