Computer Model of Absence Epilepsy Seizure

Absence seizure are associated with rhythmic spike and wave(SW) complexes recorded on the EEG in both hemispheres.The computer model is used to modify the absence epilepsy seizure.And the dynamics properties of the system and the role played by different input module in the process of seizure generation are investigated by the model.The computer model is constructed by simulink of MATLAB.By this computer model,the alpha rhythm,epilepsy seizure can be emulated and the redation between the epilepsy seizure threshold and the sensory input and the RE input are obtained.These results are important to research how to control the epilepsy seizure in the clinic.
