56‐2: Development of a Higher‐Performance Polarizer with Dye Components

A dichroic-dye-mixture theory for polarizers is proposed, On the basis of this theory, a dye-type polarizer with excellent optical characteristics and durability using new dichroic dyes was successfully developed.
