Benchmarking Application for Student Activity Unit (UKM) in STMIK IBBI with Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) Method

2020
The benchmarking process is carried out to improve efficiency in the implementation of an activity so that an activity can produce a greater output than the given input. The benchmarking process can be done with the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, which is a very accurate benchmarking method. The DMU referred to here is the unit to be measured. Therefore, a periodic benchmarking process needs to be done as a way to continuously improve quality. Through the benchmarking process, aside from being able to measure which Student Activity Unit is efficient and inefficient, it can also provide suggestions for concerned students' Activity Unit which aspects need to be improved. The benchmarking process will be carried out using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method with the input taken into accounts such as Number of Student Activity Unit Member and the amount of Student Activity Unit development funds provided. The output to consider is the number of activities held and the number of Student Activity Program Proposals produced. The results of this study were in the form of an application for the benchmarking process of the Student Activity Unit using the DEA method
