Multi-Channel Simultaneous Encryption in WDM Systems of PSK Y-00 Quantum Stream Cipher

A cost-effective WDM cipher system based on signal masking by quantum (shot) noise is proposed. Four 12-Gbaud QPSK channels are simultaneously converted to Y-00 ciphers with 218 phase levels by a common phase randomization component.
