Ambiguities in Space Borne Synthetic Aperture Radar

This paper analyzes the sources of the ambiguity in spaceborne SAR and discusses the relations among resolution, swath width, ambiguity and pulse repetition frequency. Then the principles of choosing PRF to suppress the ambiguities are presented. Finally, an applied computational method and the results of the computer simulation are given.
