Electric Field–Induced Nucleation of Magnetic Micro-Inhomogeneities and Bubble Domain Lattices

The electric field–induced magnetic inhomogeneities nucleation is studied in iron garnet film grown on a Gd3Ga5O12 substrate with a (110) crystallographic orientation. The possibility of electric field–induced generation of bubble domain lattice is demonstrated for the first time.
