MYCAT Shard Key Selection Strategy Based on Exponential Smoothing

In Internet of things environment, sometimes, table has multiple column query frequency in the same order of magnitude, there is no choice based on experience to the MY CAT shard key. A MYCAT shard key selection strategy based on exponential smoothing method was proposed. It predicted the frequency of data columns query by the exponential smoothing method, established a quantitative cost calculation method, and then selected the lowest cost as the shard key. However, the solution of exponential smoothing is mainly affected by the smoothing coefficient. In this research, the choice of smoothing coefficient was researched, and the research toke full account of the importance of recent data. The case analysis proved the validity of the proposed strategy, and based on this strategy, we got the result of final shard key selection.
