Effects of exogenous P16 gene on activities of human glioma cell line

2007
Objective To study the effects of P16 gene taken by adenoviral vector(Ad5)on growth of human glioma cell line TJ905. Methods Expressions of P16 protein was detected in TJ905 cell line by immunohistochemical method. The proliferation and number of colony formation of the cell line was analyzed by MTT. Results The positive expressions of P16 in glioma cell line TJ905 was transmitted and colony formation of tumor cells was greatly inhibited by recombinant adenovirus, after 6 days the inhibitory rate of the growth of tumor cells was 98%. Conclusion Exogenous P16 mediated by adenovirus can be expressed in tumor cells and inhibited the growth of infected tumor cells.
