A FORTRAN 77 Computer Program for Processing Raw CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, and Depth) Data to ASCII FEB (Fast and East Binary) File Format.

1986
Abstract : A software package of subroutines written in FORTRAN 77 has been developed for processing raw conductivity, temperature, and depth data to ASCII Fast and Easy Binary (FEB) format. The programs contained within the package are machine independent with the exception of the tape block-read routine. Briefly, the tape header information is decoded and checked against information input by the program user, the raw data are read from the data-logger tape and converted to engineering units, the data are screened by spurious data values and, finally the data are written to FED files. Testing was performed on VAX 11/750 and UNIVAC 1180 machines. Keywords: CTDRAW computer program; HEDFIL computer programs. (Author)
