Multidimensional trust-based energy aware routing protocols in multihop wireless networks

2017
In multihop wireless networks, some of the mobile nodes do not deliver the other nodes packets and use their interdependent nodes to deliver their packets. In this paper, we propose trust system and payment based E-STAR protocol to provide reliable and stable routes in multihop wireless networks. Trust based systems assess the nodes reliability and capability of delivering packets as per the multidimensional test values. The payment system uses credits to charge the nodes that send packets and gain those delivers packets. Along with E-STAR, two energy-aware routing protocols are developed to minimize the possibility of breaking of routes due to the lack of resources. Simulation results show that these two energy-aware routing protocols can improve packet delivery ratio and minimizes the packet loss and End-to-end delay.
