Las metodologías de aprendizaje activo en la enseñanza biblioteconomía: la experiencia con un mapa conceptual y el diagrama de Belluzzo

2017
The challenge of teaching in the higher education focuses on stimulating creativity of students through learning methodologies. The emphasis of the learning process should be the formation of an individual able to constantly learn throughout life. From this reflection was promoted research in order to describe about an experiment using the conceptual map and Belluzzo’s diagram as teaching and learning active methods, through theoretical and practical contents of the subjects of the area Resources and Information Services from the course of Librarianship. We aim to analyze what are the necessary changes in the pedagogical action, to achieve the full development of the intellectual and industrial skills of the students. This is an exploratory research, with the participation of students, who participated in the construction of conceptual maps and Belluzzo’s diagram during the classes. The collection of data from the students was through a closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed by the Bardin content analysis technique with the establishment of categories. The results of the construction process of the conceptual maps and diagrams reflect the critical and participative attitude of the student in the content taught in class. We conclude that the use of active method can help students to lay out and highlight the aspects that should be worked in the classroom, through an interplay between theory and practice.
