Hydrolysis Process of Bamboo Reed with Dilute Sulphuric Acid and Analysis of Monosaccharide Compositions
2010
[Objective]To investigate the hydrolysis process conditions and provide reference basis for the development and utilization of the bamboo reed.[Method]In order to find the optimum conditions, different concentration of sulphuric acid, reaction time, temperature and solid liquid ratio were arranged for the orthogonal experiment. The monosaccharide compositions of the hydrolyzate were analyzed by GC.[Result]The optimum conditions of the hydrolysis of the bamboo reed were as follows:3.5% concentration of dilute sulfuric acid,a reaction temperature of 100 ℃,a reaction time of 2.5 h,and a liquid-solid ratio of 1∶10(ml/g).Under these conditions, the yield of pentose could reached 72.61%.Additionally,the detection from GC indicated that the main monosaccharide contained in the hydrolyzate of the bamboo reed were mainly xylose, glucose, arabinose and galactose, whose contents were 72.380%,11.673%,5.979% and 3.468%,respectively.[Conclusion]The bamboo reed waste has a potential application prospect in the preparation of xylose or xylitol.
