Camouflage Target Detection Based on Infrared Polarization Characteristic

Method of detecting camouflage dope utilizing polarization information in infrared image is brought forward by analyzing working mechanism of camouflage dope and infrared polarization imaging principle. Metal target plates smearing camouflage and common dope respectively are studied. The results have showed that stealthy ability of camouflage dope in infrared wave band can be weakened effectively by infrared polarization imaging method.
