Reinforcement of Composites Based on Fresh Ice with Natural Fillers

The possibility of using fibrous fillers of natural origin in an ice matrix as a reinforcing additive is investigated. It is shown that the introduction of fillers leads to a two- to threefold increase in the bending tensile strength of fresh ice.
