Study on Silver Extracting from Silver Concentrate by Pre-oxidization Process

The KClO_3 is used as oxidant to pretreat silver concentrate, the effecting factors such as muriatic acid concentration, KClO_3 adding amount, the sodium sulphite concentration and the time on silver leaching rate are discussed. The average silver leaching rate is 94.85%, silver powder contains more than 96% Ag on the following condition: HCl 3mol/L, 250g/L sodium sulphit, 2h, 50～60℃, oxidant is 5 percent of the ore.
