Flow injection chemiluminescence determination of domperidone

A flow injection chemiluminescence method for the determination of domperidone was desribed. The method was based on the chemiluminescence produced during the oxidation of luminol by H_2O_2 in alkaline solution (pH 9.8). The emission intensity was greatly enhaned in the presence of doperidone. The CL intensity was linear with the concentration in the range of 1.0×10~(-6)~3.0×10~(-8) g/mL(r=0.9992) with a detection limit (3σ) of 5.0×10~(-9) g/mL. Relative standard deviation was 2.9%(n=11). The method was successfully applied to the determination of domperidone in tablets and human serum samples.
