Densities of 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol in the temperature range from 310 K to 420 K: I. Saturated-liquid densities
1992
Twelve saturated-liquid densities for 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol (TFE) have been measured by a variable-volume method using a metal bellows. The results cover the range of temperatures from 310 K to 420 K at intervals of 10 K. Eleven vapour pressures were also measured at five temperatures. The experimental uncertainties of temperature T , pressure p , and density ρ have been estimated to be no greater than ±3 mK, ±0.6 kPa, and ±0.0010 · ρ , respectively. The correlations for the saturated-liquid density and the vapour pressure were formulated as a function of temperature on the basis of the present results and other available results.
