ESTUDIO DE UN CASO DE DEMENCIA CON AFECTACION POSTERIOR

The case of a 64 year old man who develops a chart characterized by visual alterations, agraphia, alexia and acalculia is presented. The cerebral spect showed hypocaptation at the level of both temporoparietal regions in their most posterior portion, with predominance of the left side and a marked ventricular dilatation of occipital horns. This data identifies a case of dementia with posterior affectation in which the nature of the causing illness has not yet been identified.
