STUDY KELAYAKAN INVESTASI PROYEK REKLAMASI PANTAI SORONG PAPUA

Sorong City is a region that is experiencing rapid development in the field of economy. This condition must be supported by the existence of adequate facilities and infrastructure of the economy. One of important aspect that support the development of the economic sector is by adding areas to build economic facilities and infrastructure. Based on the background, Sorong City Government plans a reclamation activity of Sorong Beach with an area of 25 hectares that located in Kampung Baru Village, Sorong District, Sorong City. It will be built bussiness centers to increase the economic activiity in society, if this reclamation process has been completed. Ths condition will be a positive impact to increase revenue, welfare society and lcal revenue. Minimizing risks that occu, it is necessary to study investment. Whether the reclamation project will be prifitable or even harmful. The purpose of this study is to know the value of NPV, B / C, IRR, and PP as a reference to the reclamation project is proper to run. This research uses NPV method, IRR method, B / C method and Payback Period to analyze the data obtained and to know the feasibility of the Papua coastal reclamation project. The calculation results based on NVP method, B / C and IRR value stated that the development of IPLT of Madiun City is proper from the economic aspect with the investment payback period for 6 years 9 months.
