Multiband Monopole Antenna for ISM, WiFi And Satellite Communication Applications

In this paper, a multi-band monopole antenna operating at three different frequencies is presented. Antenna presented in this paper has resonant frequencies of 2.2, 5.9, and 8.5 GHz covering bands of 1.92-2.53 GHz (ISM band), 5.65-6.24 GHz (WiFi Band) and 8.34-8.86 GHz (Satellite Communications Band) with 10 dB bandwidths of 610 MHz, 590 MHz and 620 MHz, respectively. The size of the proposed antenna is $24\times 28\times 0.8$ mm3. FR-4 material is used as substrate for the proposed antenna. The proposed antenna has good gain at ISM band (>5.09 dBi), WiFi band (>4.92 dBi) and Satellite communication band (>4.94 dBi) along with high efficiency of 88%, 88.9% and 87% respectively,
