NONAQUEOUS ELECTROCHEMISTRY OF POLYPYRROLE/POLYSTYRENESULFONATE COMPOSITE FILMS : VOLTAMMETRIC, COULOMETRIC, EPR, AND AC IMPEDANCE STUDIES

We report work on polypyrrole/polystyrenesulfonate composite films (PP/PSS) prepared by the electrochemical oxidation of pyrrole under totally nonaqueous conditions in the presence of an organic soluble polystyrenesulfonate salt. These films are significantly different in their electrochemical behavior when compared to films prepared and studied in aqueous solution
