A Constant Potential Circuit for Electrochemical Detection of Tear Glucose

Diabetes is a disease with high incidence rate and incurable disease. According to the research at home and abroad, there is a linear relationship between tear glucose and blood glucose. Therefore, this paper proposed a method to obtain the blood glucose concentration by measuring the tear glucose. A constant potential circuit based on electrochemical three-electrode system for detecting tear glucose concentration was designed. The circuit included voltage inverter, stabilized voltage, negative feedback and microcurrent amplification module. Multisim simulation results showed that the circuit had low noise and better amplification accuracy. The PCB test board was designed and processed by Altium Designer software. The output voltage of the circuit was 100mV up to 2300mV when detecting the glucose solution from 0.1~0.6mmol/L. The experimental results showed that the circuit could be applied in the electrochemical three- electrode system.
