Investigation and protection countermeasures of fish resources in Nyingchi prefecture.

In September and October 2007,fish resources mainly in nyingchi bomi and rima county of Nyingchi prefecture were investigated outdoors.A total of 515 specimens including 18 species of fish were collected,attached to 2 orders 3 families,12 genera.The Central Asian plateau fish fauna complex was the principal composition in the area.Schizothorax fish were the dominant groups which were consistent with the fish in composition of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.They all belonged to the typical plateau fish fauna.At last,some conservation suggestions are provided in order to promote the management of the nature reserve.
