Applications of Nb Adhesive Nanolayers in Surface Plasmon Resonanse Sensors

2020
The technology of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) detection is universal for refractometry and biosensing. The expansion of the SPR sensors requires the mass production of sensor substrates. The work concerns to investigations of SPR substrates consist of Au plasmon supported film and adhesive Nb ultrathin layer on glass. Investigations of such effects as niobium layer thickness, low-temperature annealing, adhesion and storage stability on reflection curves, were carried out. It was shown that structures $\mathrm{N}\mathrm{b}_{\mathrm{a}\mathrm{d}\mathrm{g}}$ –Au are suitable to create sensor substrate technology for mass use in SPR sensors.
