Unusual magnetoresistance of mesophase-pitch-derived graphite fibers
1985
Abstract Detailed measurements of the magnetoresistance of two types of high tensile modulus mesophase-pitch-derived graphite fibers have been performed between 1.4 and 300 K in magnetic fields to 8 T. With increasing magnetic field at low temperatures, the transverse magnetoresistance of these fibers exhibits an unusual oscillatory behavior.
