Documentation of Folk Herbal Uses of Medicinally Important Wild Vegetables Used by the Tribal Communities of Sargodha Region, Pakistan

ABSTRACT: This preliminary study provides the traditional consumption of wild vegetables that mostly grow as weeds (>50%) and that are also medicinally important in the rural communities of Sargodha region, Pakistan. Through different surveys and interviews with key informants, data on perception, gathering, preparation and use of 40 wild vegetables belonging to 27 families were collected.
