Low Voltage Magnetron for Microwave Ovens

1981
AbstractA low operating voltage magnetron has been developed and put into production. It operates at the anode voltage of 2.5 kV and yields 500 W output power to a microwave oven with high efficiency. The relation between the RF voltage and the efficiency or the mode stability has been experimentally studied in order to clarify the difficulties for realizing a successful low-voltage magnetron.
