Research on Positioning Accuracy of Five-station Time Difference Positioning Algorithms

In order to determine the selection strategy of the positioning algorithm of the five-station time difference positioning system, the analysis algorithm and the least square algorithm of the five-station time difference positioning are compared and studied. First, the time difference positioning model and algorithm error model of the two algorithms are given, and the Cramer-Rao threshold of the time difference positioning accuracy is derived. Then, under the conditions of different time difference measurement errors and station site error parameters, the positioning performance of the two algorithms is simulated and analyzed. The simulation results show that the positioning accuracy of the least squares positioning algorithm can reach the Cramer-Rao threshold, which is higher than that of the analytical positioning algorithm.
