1983
Early Carboniforous brachiopodas and corals are first found in the Mt. Amunike and the Mt.Oulongbuluke of the North-Eastern Qaidam basin.Thery are Rhytiophora arcuata-Syringothyris hall,Rhipidomella altaica-Syringothyris texta,Kassinella amunikensis-Iophophyllum densum and Enygmophyllum- Kakwiphyllum qinghaiense. These discoveries indicate that the Tournaisian extend to the North-Eastern of the Qaidam Basin, and the Tournaisian in the Chuanshangou Valley of the Mr.Amunike is named"Chuanshangou System". The term "Holt Taria"for Visean stage beds exposed in the Mr.Oulongbu- luke of the West-Southere Holt Taria area is continued to use.
