Inhibition of yeast inorganic pyrophosphatase by nucleotidylsulfates

1971
The influence of some purine nucleotides on the activity of yeast inorganic pyrophosphatase was investigated. The nucleotidylsulfates examined were found to exert a significant inhibition. Guanylylsulfate and inosinylsulfate depressed the rate of the pyrophosphatase reaction markedly, adenylylsulfate and its deoxy analog inhibited to a lesser but still significant extent.
