Desarrollo y territorio: Innovación social

The purpose of this book is to gather together the contents, processes and undertakings of social innovation. It is true that a review of the discourses and representations on innovation, and particularly on social innovation, leaves a feeling of confusion in the forms and strategies used to delimit the object. It may be hard to admit it, but this is a transversal characteristic of current times: the fact that processes, objects, methods and approaches tend to reject definitions, delimitations and definitive limitations. However, a minimum of bases is required for us to be able to talk about any subject. The diverse experiences, origins and conceptual (but not theoretical) frameworks with respect to innovation invite us to advance in its pages with an open, flexible vision that seeks, not so much definitive theories, but forces of interaction that tend toward the delimitation, delimitation and definition that we mentioned earlier as challenges of current research work in the social sphere.
